Norda Dynamics — Investor Pitch Deck

Norda Dynamics develops autonomous software that allows drones to operate without GPS in combat zones. I was brought in to design their primary investor pitch deck. My role involved restructuring their technical data into a cohesive business narrative, developing a high-contrast visual identity suitable for defense tech, and producing the final 17-slide presentation for their $1M fundraising round.

Project overview

  • The Goal: Raise $1M to scale autonomous drone operations.

  • The Challenge: Explain invisible "anti-jamming" technology to non-technical investors.

  • The Solution: A high-contrast visual language that mimics industrial warning systems and heads-up displays (HUDs).

Framing the problem

The team had plenty of data, but the narrative was scattered. I reframed the introduction around a single, urgent fact: most drone missions fail due to signal jamming. I used bold typography and stark data visualization to establish the "Why" before introducing the product.

Designing for clarity

In defense tech, clarity is survival. I avoided standard corporate aesthetics and opted for a "Signal Yellow" palette to cut through the noise.

  • The Solution: Highlighting the physical module to show it works with any drone.

  • The Roadmap: Breaking the tech down into clear "Phase 1" (Active) and "Phase 2" (Future) to show scalability.

Visualizing the opportunity

Investors need to scan complex metrics in seconds. I translated spreadsheets into a modular grid system:

  • Market: Nested cards visualize the realistic market share.

  • Traction: The "Hockey Stick" graph uses partner logos as social proof.

  • Competition: A clear split-screen layout positions Norda as the only "Universal" solution.

  • The Ask: Stripping away complexity to state the $1M goal clearly.

The Result

The final deck balances technical depth with business logic. It successfully positions the team—highlighting their frontline experience and manufacturing capabilities—and is currently being used in investor meetings to secure the next round of funding.
